The winner is thinner.

Most frames keep the same thickness along the whole arm. The Serval 2.5's tapered arm is both tougher and lighter.

Simulations on Serval arm versions

I ran simulations on 15 different arm shapes, and one of the lightest turned out to be the strongest. Hard to believe, right? I validated it in the lab and turns out, it’s true.

Serval assembly blueprint

Practical and easy to build.

The Serval’s wide top plate protects your VTX from costly midair hits. It has plenty of space to build. You can use a capacitor and even a stack saver.

And yet, a full Serval build with battery is only ~1% heavier than a MS25, Zigzag or LightSwitch Ultra.

Fully open source.

The best way to buy a Serval is from the Tressym Shop, but you can also cut your own.

Modify it, remix it, even sell it if you want - just link back to this page!

This also guarantees fair prices everywhere, forever.

Maybe I can design it for you.

Digital/high-end build

ESC

Sequre Blueson A1

This super-cheap ESC actually delivered excellent performance in Chris Rosser's ESC test. The only drawback is its slightly higher weight.

Flight controller

HDZero Halo Flight Controller

Great pad layout, integrated Gemini ELRS receiver, good value for money.

Camera

HDZero Nano 90

The camera for the HDZero system.

Video transmitter

HDZero Race VTX

Ultra low latency and 90fps makes HDZero the best for racing.

VTX antenna

Foxeer Lollipop Micro

Great price, reliable.

Motors

T-Motor F60 2207 1950KV

An excellent motor overall. Believe me: 1950KV is more than enough.

Propellers

Gemfan Yuki 5129-3

Low pitch propellers for better control.

Batteries

6S batteries 1200-1400mAh

I'd recommend Tattu / Boslipo for performance or Ovonic for value.
